A lorry that burst into flames on the A9 near Aviemore closed the road for a number of hours.
Fire crews were called to the blaze on the major road northbound at 4.36am, and three fire engines were in attendance.
A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said the blaze had started in one of the lorry’s tyres.
The fire service said crews were stood down at 6.26am.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said there are no reported injuries.
The road was closed for a number of hours following the incident, but police have confirmed it has now fully reopened.
