A major Highlands road has been closed in both directions since early on Tuesday after a crash.
Emergency crews were called to the scene on the A9 near Drumochter Pass at around 5.45am on August 1.
It is currently unknown if anyone has been injured as a result.
Traffic Scotland confirmed at around 6.30am that the road has been closed in both directions and emergency services remain at the scene.
Drivers are being urged to use alternative routes wherever possible.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 5.45am on Tuesday, August 1, police were called to a report of a road crash involving two vehicles on the A9 near to Drumochter Pass.
“Officers are currently at the scene.”
