The A9 is closed in both directions after three vehicles were involved in a crash in the Highlands.
Police responded to the collision after 4.45pm on Friday south of Aviemore between Etteridge and Kincraig with the road fully closed in both directions.
Diversions have been put in place and drivers are being urged to avoid the area.
A Police Scotland statement read: “The A9 is closed both ways south of Aviemore following a three vehicle crash, which happened around 4.45pm.
“Emergency services are in attendance and diversions are in place.
“Please avoid the area.”
A Traffic Scotland statement read: “The A9 is closed in both directions between Etteridge to Kincraig, near Aviemore, due to a road traffic accident.
“Road users are advised to use the available signed diversion route.”
