Part of the A9 has been closed in both directions following a crash in Inverness.
Police confirmed that the road was closed in both directions between North Kessock and Tore on Tuesday morning.
It has not yet been confirmed the nature of the crash or whether anyone has been injured as a result.
Drivers have been advised to take alternative routes and give extra times for their journeys.
Police Scotland has been contacted for comment.
