A82 closed in both directions as emergency services attend property fire

The A82 has been closed in both directions due to a property fire on Saturday.

Emergency services were called to the scene between Tyndrum and Ballachulish Bridge in Glencoe following reports of a blaze at a building.

Drivers have been urged to avoid the area as attempts are made to extinguish the flames.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “The A82 is closed in both directions between Tyndrum and Ballachulish Bridge following a report of a fire at a property around 5.40pm on Saturday, 8 February, 2025.

“Emergency services are in attendance and drivers are asked to avoid the area.”
