A82 closed after rush hour crash as drivers urged to avoid area

Part of the A82 has been closed following a rush hour crash in the Highlands.

Emergency services were called following a crash north of Spean Bridge at around 9.25am on Friday.

Officers said the road is closed in both directions and urged drivers to avoid the area.

A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “The A82 is closed in both directions north of Spean Bridge due to a crash reported to us around 9.25am on Friday, November 7, 2025.

“Emergency services are in attendance, and motorists are asked to avoid the area.”
