After announcing her anticipated world tour on Wednesday, Beyonce fans rushed to get tickets for the singer’s first tour in years as pre-sale opened for her UK dates.
The 25-time Grammy Award-winning star announced she would be coming to Edinburgh’s Murrayfield Stadium as part of the Renaissance world tour.
O2 priority customers were able to have first access at 10am on Thursday as pre-sale began, but some users reported issues with the app and website.
For the Edinburgh date, fans will also have a chance to access the Live Nation and venue presale on Friday, February 3, while Beyonce’s official fanclub the BeyHive will be able to access tickets on Monday February 6.
General sale for the five UK stadium shows in Edinburgh, Cardiff, Sunderland and London, begins on Tuesday February 7.
The 43-date world tour will begin on May 10 in Sweden. It is the star’s first solo tour in seven years.
The Break My Soul singer will visit Edinburgh’s Murrayfield on May 20, Sunderland’s Stadium of Light on May 23 and London’s Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on both May 29 and 30.
An O2 spokesperson said: “We apologise to any customers who are experiencing difficulties trying to get Beyonce tickets through our Priority platform today.
“We’re seeing huge demand and we’re doing everything we can to help ensure all our customers can get through.”
