Elton John welcomed Susan Boyle backstage at his concert in Glasgow with a hug.
The 75-year-old singer-songwriter performed two shows at the OVO Hydro arena as part of his Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour.
“Come here til I see you,” Boyle said to the star.
“Oh lovely girl, how are you?” the Tiny Dancer singer responded,
Boyle says she is “ok,” before Sir Elton adds: “I’m so pleased to see you.”
The pair embraced each other as Sir Elton placed his hands on Boyle’s face before kissing her forehead.
It comes after Boyle revealed she suffered a minor stroke which left her worried she would be unable to perform during an appearance on Britain’s Got Talent.
The 62-year-old admitted it was “crazy” to be back on stage so soon this month, having suffered the stroke last April.
The singer appeared on the show’s final to mark 14 years since she appeared in the talent contest in 2009.
Sharing a photo and video of the backstage hug on her official Instagram, the caption read: “Susan met the legend himself, @eltonjohn last night in Glasgow at his phenomenal #farewellyellowbrickroad tour. A night she will never forget!”
Sir Elton has been touring the globe on his marathon Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour over the past few years.
He is due to bring it to a close by headlining Glastonbury on Sunday, June 25.
