iStockSTV is the home for coverage of the Oscars in Scotland with this year’s awards ceremony to be available live.
Viewers will be able to experience the glitz and the glamour of the Oscars completely free and exclusively on STV and the STV Player, with a raft of programming to celebrate the highly-anticipated awards.
TV presenter and talk show host Jonathan Ross will present the 97th Oscars ceremony companion show on STV alongside a number of celebrity guests on Sunday, March 2 from 10.30pm.
Scottish presenter and actor Ross King will broadcast direct from the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles in a live stream showcasing the celebrity attendees.
For the first time, the Oscars red carpet will be broadcast live across both STV and STV Player.
Viewers will also be able to watch exclusive behind-the-scenes content that will be loaded onto the platform throughout the night.
STV Player will also broadcast the upcoming ’97th Oscars Nominations Announcement’ show live in full this Thursday, January 23 at 1:10pm.
It comes after the Oscars nominations announcement was postponed for a second time amid the wildfires in Los Angeles which have killed at least 27 people and destroyed more than 14,000 structures.
