Sir Rod Stewart will perform at Edinburgh Castle this summer, as part of a summer programme of performances.
Following the legendary singer’s UK-wide tour in 2022, Sir Rod will kick off his Global Hits Tour at Home Park Stadium in Plymouth and finish with a special performance at the famous Scottish landmark.
Returning to Edinburgh Castle for the first time in 13 years, the singer said audiences will be “dancing under the stars” at the castle’s esplanade on July 6.
Sir Rod, whose Edinburgh-born father was a plumber from Leith, is set to pack his setlist with show-stopping classics.
Announcing the dates, he said: “My favourite memories have been summer nights with a beer or two alongside the best fans in the world.
“I’m impatiently awaiting this summer playing at a variety of special venues – football, cricket and rugby stadiums, estates and castles! We’ll all be dancing under the stars.”
Tickets will go on sale from Friday, February 17 at 10am.
