Red Hot Chili Peppers have announced a revised date and venue for their Glasgow show almost six months after pulling out of the performance over an unspecified illness.
The American rockers were due to play at Bellahouston Park in the city in July, but were forced to cancel hours before the gig was due to kick off because of the medical issue.
The band has now announced a return to Scotland next year as part of their 2023 European and UK tour, but the event has been moved to Hampden Park.
Tickets for the previous concert will remain valid, while a limited number are scheduled to go on sale later this week.
The band will be supported by The Roots and King Princess.
A statement from promoters Gigs in Scotland read: “The Red Hot Chili Peppers gig originally scheduled for Summer 2022 will now take place at Hampden Park on Sunday, July 23, 2023 – with very special guests The Roots and King Princess.
“Existing tickets remain valid but will be re-issued for the new venue.
“Limited tickets remain and go on sale 10am Friday.”
