A mysterious billboard in Glasgow has sparked speculation that Lewis Capaldi could be set to appear at the Glastonbury music festival.

The Someone You Love singer is also reportedly set to release new music this weekend, with a potential new single apparently “leaked” on social media.

Eagle eye fans have noticed that the writing on the billboard, which has appeared near the St Enoch Centre, matches lyrics to the new release.

A phone number is also on the sign and when it is called it links to a message that reads “Hey, it’s TBA, thanks for signing up.”

That is believed to be a reference to the Secret Slot at Glastonbury this Friday.

A similar banner has also appeared at Castle Carey in Somerset, at the closest train station to the festival which kicked off on Wednesday and runs through to Sunday.

That has led to fans putting two and two together and convincing themselves that Capaldi will take to the stage at Worthy Farm again.

The 28-year-old made headlines in 2023 after visibly struggling and becoming emotional on stage.

Since then he has been on a two-year break from the public eye, but with new music on the horizon he could see this as the perfect time for a triumphant return to where he left off.
