Lorraine Kelly has confirmed her plans to return to TV after undergoing surgery earlier this month.
The TV presenter took to Instagram to share an update with followers and thank them for their well-wishes.
Sharing a picture of herself and her granddaughter, she said: “Thanks so much for all your get-well wishes. Billie providing the best medicine ever with lots of cuddles for her granny.”
The 65-year-old said that she hopes to be back to work presenting her show Lorraine on Monday.
Earlier this month, Kelly confirmed she was undergoing a procedure after “not feeling well for a while”.
Speaking from her hospital bed on May 3, she said scans and tests had led to her being taken in for “preventative” keyhole surgery.
Kelly returned home on the day after her surgery, and said she was resting on her doctor’s orders.
A number of celebrities shared their well wishes with Lorraine including Katie Piper, Adele Roberts and Susanna Reid.
