Line-up announced for Party at the Palace music festival

The line-up for Linlithgow’s Party at the Palace has been announced, including some acts who should have been playing the festival this summer.

Manic Street Preachers, Del Amitri, The Snuts, Hue and Cry and Sophie Ellis-Bextor are set to perform the festival in 2021.

Kyle Falconer, The Silencers, Callum Beattie, Peat & Diesel and The Brand New Heavies have also been confirmed in the line-up.

The annual music event was cancelled this summer due to certain restrictions being in place during the coronavirus pandemic.

However, bosses are determined to come back “bigger and better” on August 7 – 8 next year.

Event director Peter Ferguson said: “We were so disappointed that we were not able to get the event on this year however we are determined to come back bigger and better in 2021.

“With lots of kids activities, market stalls, silent disco, fairground rides as well as a wide selection of food and drink outlets, this event has given us something to look forward to next summer.”
