Lewis Capaldi has been announced as the final performer at this year’s BRIT Awards.
The Scottish chart-topper joins a line-up alongside Harry Styles, Lizzo, Sam Smith, Stormzy, Kim Petras, Wet Leg and David Guetta with Becky Hill and Ella Henderson at the ceremony which will take place on February 11.
Capaldi last performed at the ceremony in 2020 following his first studio album, and break out track ‘Someone You Loved’.
This year, the 26-year-old songwriter is nominated for Song of the Year, which he won in 2020 along with Best New Artist.
Commenting on being added to the line-up, Capaldi said: “Last time I played The BRIT Awards I was so scared that I had a panic attack before I went on, and then got hammered afterwards. Looking forward to more of the same this year.”
Award-winning comedian Mo Gilligan will take up hosting duties for a second year while Clara Amfo, Maya Jama and Roman Kemp will all return to host the BRIT Awards 2023: Red Carpet show from 7.30pm.
The BRIT Awards 2023 will take place Saturday February 11, at The O2 arena in London, and will be broadcast on STV and streamed live on the STV Player from 8.30 in the evening.
