Scottish rock band Biffy Clyro have announced a Glasgow gig as part of their upcoming full-scale UK and Ireland tour.

On Monday, the rockers announced a show at Glasgow’s OVO Hydro as part of the November 2022 tour.

The group will kick start the stretch of shows in Leeds on November 5, followed immediately by the Hydro on November 6.

The eight-show tour will also feature British metalcore group The Architects supporting the Kilmarnock trio.

About the tour, Biffy Clyro said: “It’s been way too long… we are so excited to announce our tour of UK/Ireland this November and over the moon to have Architects join us on what is going to be a very special tour. You will not want to miss it!”

The announcement follows glowing reviews from their performance at Download Festival last weekend.

Their second time topping the bill at Donnington, Biffy Clyro proved themselves top tier headliners filling their set with material from 2020’s A Celebration Of Endings, 2021’s The Myth Of The Happily Ever After, and a host of other tracks from their catalogue.

General tickets will go on sale from 9am on Friday from Live Nation.
