The Foreign Office has confirmed it is supporting the family of a British man in Dubai after Katie Price revealed her husband, Lee Andrews, is “missing”.
The former glamour model and reality TV star said in a podcast on Saturday that she had not heard from Mr Andrews, who lives in the UAE, for days.
When asked by ITV News about the comments on Monday, a Foreign Office spokesperson said: “We are supporting the family of a British man and are in contact with the local authorities.”
Price shared a video on her social media, saying she thought her husband may have been kidnapped or arrested, with a plea to help find him.
She said: “The truth is, Lee has been missing for three days. Lee was trying to get through the border near Hatta and, oh God, this is so discombobulating.
“His location went off at 10.03pm Wednesday night, that’s the last contact anyone’s had, his family and me. This is the third day now… He phoned me before the location went off. He’s in the middle of nowhere. Obviously, I’m worried.”
She added: “The last FaceTime call I had with him… he had ties around his hand and a hood. He sounded really worried and said like whispering, ‘They’re coming for me now. They’re coming for me. I’ve got to go.’”
Katie Price shared this video on her YouTube account on Saturday, explaining that she was in contact with Dubai Police after not speaking with her husband Lee Andrews for three days.
The saga began after the 43-year-old Dubai-based businessman failed to show up for their joint appearance on ITV’s Good Morning Britain last Tuesday, claiming he had “things to do” but was on his way.
However, according to Price, producers of the ITV programme had spoken to the Foreign Office who said they had detained a British man with Lee’s name and date of birth.
When asked if Andrews had been arrested at the airport, Price said: “I just said, ‘Lee, apparently a British man has been detained. Can you just confirm that it’s not you?’ Because I obviously know it’s not him.
“So, he’s just done a voice note back and laughing emojis. ‘No, it’s not me’ and a voice note. And he’s just sent me pictures.”

Speaking on her podcast The Katie Price Show last Thursday, Katie addressed comments she’d received that Andrews was a conman.
Price explained that during their four-month marriage Andrews has not visited her in the UK, despite repeatedly saying that he would on social media.
This led to her followers questioning if there was a reason he couldn’t fly to the UK, including the suggestion he was on a no-fly list.
Price said she understood fans’ concerns, saying: “If you can’t fly out of Dubai for whatever reason just tell me… If he doesn’t come to England, I’ve said I want answers. A bit of respect. Just tell me what’s going on.”
She added: “You either tell me what’s going on, or what does he expect to do because I’m not flying out to Dubai now. I’ve got family here, I’ve got my kids here, I’ve got work to do.”
Katie and Lee married in January, just days after they met in person in Dubai.
It is Price’s fourth marriage. She first wed Australian singer Peter Andre in 2005, eventually getting divorced in 2009. She then married cage fighter Alex Reid between 2010 and 2012.
Her longest marriage was to Kieran Hayler, from 2013 until 2021.
Price confirmed her relationship with Lee days after she broke up with Married at First Sight’s JJ Slater.
