British media personality Katie Price is reportedly filing for a divorce from her husband Lee Andrews, after allegedly discovering his claims about being a crypto millionaire were untrue.
The Sun reported on Wednesday that the former model and businesswoman consulted a London divorce lawyer about ending her marriage.
The newspaper reported Price had split up with Andrews via WhatsApp, allegedly telling her friend she had come to her senses, adding: “Lee has lied and lied and lied. I am sick of it. It is over.”
A source told the tabloid that Andrews had promised he had £37m in a crypto wallet and would give her some of the money.
They described to The Sun how Andrews had reportedly given Price the passkey to get into his account and she “discovered it contained just $3, or £2.22”.
The source told the paper the split was “an accumulation of many things,” but the financial lie was “the final straw”.
The former model has not yet commented on the alleged divorce herself.
This will be Price’s fourth divorce following marriages with singer Peter Andre, cage fighter Alex Reid and social media influencer Kieran Hayler.
In July, Price released her documentary Nothing to Hide, and she performed at Manchester Pride last weekend.
