Hollywood actor Johnny Depp is set to play Glasgow’s OVO Hydro on Wednesday night along with his supergroup.
The Pirates of the Caribbean star, along with rock legends Alice Cooper, and Aerosmith’s Joe Perry, with guitarist Tommy Henriksen, form Hollywood Vampires who have been on a UK tour since July 5.
The self-described “best bar band in the world” will play tribute to the great lost heroes of music and their own original material, released on their studio album Rise.
Glasgow marks the band’s last date in the UK.
The band’s previous tour in 2020 was cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Last year, Depp was greeted by fans in Glasgow in June ahead of performing at the Royal Concert Hall with Jeff Beck, having stayed at the city’s Dakota Hotel.
The actor made a return to music following his high-profile defamation battle with ex-wife Amber Heard.
