The iconic Christmas movie Home Alone will be presented live in concert for the first time in the UK in December 2022 with a nationwide tour.

Home Alone in Concert will feature a screening of the complete film with its Academy Award®-nominated musical score performed live to the classic film.

The movie tells the story of eight-year-old Kevin McCallister who is accidentally left behind when his family leaves for Christmas vacation.

Played by Macaulay Culkin, the little boy must then defend his home against two bungling thieves while his parents race against the clock to get back home as soon as possible.

Released in 1990, the film also stars Catherine O’Hara and John Candy, and was nominated for two Academy Awards for Best Original Score and Best Original Song (“Somewhere in My Memory”).

The tour will make its way to Glasgow Royal Concert Hall on December 15, after kicking off in Manchester followed by Birmingham, before finishing up at the Nottingham Royal Concert Hall on December 19.

Tickets will be available from 10am on September 9 at Ticketmaster.co.uk.
