A third installment in the beloved Hocus Pocus franchise is in development in time for the original’s 30th anniversary.
President of Walt Disney Studios Motion Picture Production, Sean Bailey, revealed the movie was in the works in a New York Times interview.
He said more than 50 movies were in various stages of development and production, including live-action versions of Moana, Hercules and Lilo and Stitch.
It comes after the long-awaited sequel to the Halloween favourite arrived on Disney+ last year.
The follow-up film to the spooky comedy classic saw the return of the delightfully wicked Sanderson Sisters.
Hollywood royalty Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker and Kathy Najimy are returning to their roles – 29 years after the original film hit cinemas in 1993.
While the story of the 17th-century-sisters was hit with mixed-critical reception upon first release, Hocus Pocus has built a loyal fanbase over the years and become a certified cult-classic.
