Former US President Barack Obama has announced he is coming to Glasgow as part of a three-date tour later this year.
The 44th President of the United States will host An Evening with President Barack Obama at the OVO Hydro on October 14.
Glasgow is one of three stops on the tour, as well as Manchester and Belfast, with the former president discussing the future of America.
It marks the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence, proclaiming the freedom of the 13 colonies from Great Britain in 1776.
Following his presidency, he set up The Obama Foundation, which aims to support a next generation of leaders.
Recently, he opened the Obama Presidential Center in the south side of Chicago, which contains a museum, library and other community assets.
Presented by Seat Unique and organised alongside Fane, Kilimanjaro, Singular Artists and Regular Music, the audience will hear directly from “one of the most transformational leaders of our time.”
There is also an opportunity for VIP guest to get a photo taken with the former president.

Presale tickets for the event go on sale on Wednesday, July 29, while the general sale starts on July 31.
