Chappell Roan is set to take to the stage in Edinburgh, kicking off two of her biggest Scottish shows to date.

The pop star will be taking to the stage as part of Edinburgh Summer Sessions at the Royal Highland Showgrounds on August 26 and August 27, fresh from the release of her latest single, The Subway.

Chappell has become one of the biggest names in pop following the release of her debut album, The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess, and single Good Luck, Babe!

The shows will mark her biggest Scottish gigs to date, following on from her sold-out performance at Glasgow’s O2 Academy in September.

Thousands of fans are set to descend on the capital ahead of the show, with special transport and warnings issued.

Here’s everything you need to know.

Transport

Concert goers travelling to Edinburgh city centre before the gig will be able to take the Lothian Buses 98 service, which has been branded the Pink Pony Bus for the big night.

The service will drop you right at the venue with regular departures from 3pm.

Fans travelling from Glasgow can take the Citylink 900 bus, which stops outside the Royal Highland Centre on Ingliston Road.

Traffic Scotland issued a warning for anyone travelling to Edinburgh Airport over the next two days due to its proximity to the venue.

It warned that traffic is expected to be heavier due to the thousands of fans heading to the venue and urged people flying from the airport to leave early and avoid being caught in traffic.

What time does the show start?

Official stage times have not been released, but doors to the event open at 4pm and the gig is scheduled to end at 10.30pm.

Who is the support act?

Organisers announced that Jade will be a special guest on the line-up earlier this month.

The Little Mix star has become one of the most talked-about pop artists in the country since launching her solo career with hit single Angel Of My Dreams.

The Scottish performances come just two months before her own sold-out headline show at the O2 Academy in Glasgow and after an appearance at this year’s TRNSMT festival.

Are there any tickets left?

The event is sold out.
