Scottish artists Lewis Capaldi, Calvin Harris, Young Fathers and Barry Can’t Swim are among the nominees at this year’s Brit Awards.
Capaldi’s hit single Wish You the Best from his record-selling album Broken By Desire To Be Heavenly Sent has been nominated for Song of the year.
Popular DJ Harris, from Dumfries, has been nominated for a total of three awards including for his song Miracle featuring Ellie Goulding.
The 40-year-old record producer is also up for the prize in the categories of Best Dance and Best Pop act.
Young Fathers, a Scottish hip-hop trio, join the likes of Blur and Chase and Status in leading the nominations for Group of the Year.
The band’s album, Heavy Heavy, has also been nominated for Album of the Year while the trio are also up for Best Rock/Alternative act.
Edinburgh-born electronic dance artist Barry Can’t Swim has also been nominated for this year’s awards for Best Dance act alongside fellow Scot Calvin Harris.
Pop singer Raye has made Brit Awards history by becoming the first artist to earn seven nominations in a single year.
The ceremony takes place on Saturday, March 2 at the O2 Arena in London.
