Blue are set to take fans on a “trip down memory lane” as they come to Scotland on their Greatest Hits tour.
The boys – Antony Costa, Duncan James, Lee Ryan and Simon Webbe – are making a comeback at Glasgow’s SEC Armadillo on April 24 and Edinburgh’s Usher Hall on April 25.
Speaking to STV What’s On Scotland, Duncan and Simon reflect on the 24 years since they broke out onto the scene.
Duncan said: “We love coming up to Scotland. We’ve been coming to Scotland since the beginning of our career.
Simon added: “We’ve always said the Scottish crowds tend to be the loudest.
“The further north you go, the crazier it gets. We’re looking forward to being back.”
Blue are back on the road following their 20th anniversary Heart and Soul tour in 2022, joined by 2000s girl group Atomic Kitten.
This time, they’ve got a few “surprises” up their sleeve for fans, including some special anecdotes from over the years – but Simon said they “don’t want to give too much away.”
The group say they are excited to reconnect with fans and have some fun.
Duncan said: “We’re lucky to have great fans over the years who have been dedicated to us and followed us all the way through, everything we’ve done individually and collectively as a band.
“It’s going to be a bit like a trip down memory lane, this tour.
“For instance, All Rise and One Live might have been a special part of their lives that they remember that song from.
“We think everyone will enjoy reminiscing to some of these classics.”
Tickets for Blue’s Greatest Hits tour can be purchased on Ticketmaster.
