Getty ImagesBilly Joel’s upcoming shows have been rescheduled as he recovers from surgery.
The musical legend was due to perform at Edinburgh’s Murrayfield Stadium and Liverpool’s Anfield Stadium in June.
Joel is recovering from recent surgery and needs to undergo physical therapy under the supervision of his doctors, a statement said.
“While I regret postponing any shows, my health must come first,” the star said.
“I look forward to getting back on stage and sharing the joy of live music with our amazing fans. Thank you for your understanding.”
Joel’s shows will now take place in 2026 at Murrayfield on Saturday, June 6, and Anfield on Saturday, June 20, respectively.
Tickets will automatically be valid for the rescheduled shows, organisers said.
Anyone unable to attend will be able to request a refund from their point of purchase.
Joel’s current tour has been postponed for four months and will resume at Acrisure Stadium in Pittsburgh on July 5.
