Harry Potter fans' tribute to Alan Rickman at King's Cross station
Fans have left a special tribute to the actor at Platform Nine and Three Quarters.
As fans pay tribute to actor Alan Rickman, Harry Potter devotees have set up their own memorial at King's Cross station in honour of the man who played a key role in the film franchise - Professor Severus Snape.
The tribute appeared to have been started by Twitter user @imjfernandez yesterday, but there were still bunches of flowers at the station this morning.
In both the books and the films, Harry travelled to Hogwarts School on the Hogwarts Express - a steam train that departed from Platform Nine and Three Quarters of King's Cross station.
It could only be reached by passing through a magical barrier.
On the official Potter website, J.K. Rowling has previously written about why King's Cross station is particularly important to her.
