A woman is in hospital after being struck by a car in Edinburgh on Tuesday afternoon.
Emergency services were called to Woodhall Road in the Colinton area at the junction with Bridge Street after the crash at around 3.45pm.
Woodhall Road remains closed following the incident, police warned.
The woman was taken to the Edinburgh Royal Infirmary for treatment, but the extent of her injuries are not currently known.
The Lothian Bus services 10 and 16 are affected and will instead terminate at Westgarth Avenue.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Woodhall Road is closed due to a road crash involving a car and a female pedestrian at the junction with Bridge Street.
“Emergency services were called around 3.45pm and the woman has been taken to Edinburgh Royal Infirmary for treatment.”
