A woman has been left seriously injured after being knocked down in an Asda car park.

The pedestrian was struck at the Falkirk superstore at around 10.10am on Tuesday.

She was taken to hospital with a serious non-life threatening injury.

A Police Scotland spokesman said: “Officers were called to a crash involving a vehicle and pedestrian within Asda car park in Falkirk around 10.10am.

“The female pedestrian was taken to hospital with a serious non-life threatening injury.”
