Woman in court over ‘attempted murder’ of teenage boy ‘stabbed’ in Leslie, Fife Google Maps

A woman has appeared in court charged with attempted murder after a teenage boy was allegedly stabbed on a Fife street.

Police were called to a disturbance on Provosts Land in Leslie at around 9.25pm on September 24, where a 16-year-old boy was found with serious injuries.

The youth was taken to Ninewells Hospital in Dundee for treatment where his condition is described as stable.

Emma Scott, 26, from Glenrothes, appeared at Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court on Monday charged with assault to severe injury, permanent disfigurement, danger of life and attempted murder.

She was also accused of having a bladed article in a public place and acting in a threatening or abusive manner.

She made no plea and was released on bail.

The date of her next appearance in court is yet to be confirmed.
