A woman has died after sustaining serious injuries following a disturbance involving a teenager outside a pub in Edinburgh.
Police were called to the scene on Constitution Street on Thursday, yards from the Foot of the Walk bar, just before 8pm.
A 33-year-old woman was rushed to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh with serious injuries.
Police confirmed that she later died.
A teenage boy, aged 16, was later arrested in connection to the incident.

A large police presence could be seen in the area on Thursday evening with areas of road closed off to the public.
Investigations into the incident are continuing.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 7.50pm on Thursday, May 18 we received a report of a disturbance at Constitution Street, Edinburgh.
“A 33-year-old woman was taken to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh with serious injuries and died a short time later.
“A 16-year-old male youth has been arrested in connection with the death. Enquiries are ongoing.”
