Google MapsA woman has been charged after two people were injured at a property in Edinburgh.
Police received a call to attend a disturbance at a house on Newton Street in the Gorgie area around 5am on Sunday, August 24.
Two people, a 32-year-old man and a 28-year-old woman, were injured in the incident.
A Scottish Ambulance spokesperson said one patient was transported to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh.
A 33-year-old woman was arrested and charged in connection with the incident.
A police spokesperson said: “Around 5am on Sunday, August 23, we were called to a report of a disturbance in the Newton Street area of Edinburgh.
“Officers attended and a 32-year-old man and a 28-year-old woman were given treatment for minor injuries.
“A 33-year-old woman was arrested and charged in connection with assault and is due to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court at a later date. Enquiries are ongoing.”
