A woman has been charged in connection with a crash which resulted in the death of a 14-year-old girl in West Lothian last year.
A six-year-old boy was critically injured in the collision involving a brown Ford Focus and black Volkswagen Golf at junction 4A of the M8 motorway on October 17, 2021.
The teenager was taken to hospital following the incident but died as a result of her injuries seven days later.
A 38-year-old woman has now been charged in connection with alleged road traffic offences over the crash.
A report has also been sent to the procurator fiscal.
