Firefighters are battling a wildfire that has broken out near a popular visitor attraction in Midlothian.
Emergency services were called to reports of a grass fire near the Alpine Coaster in Hillend, around 9.23am on Tuesday.
Fire crews discovered a gorse fire upon arrival.

One fire engine was initially sent to the scene before crews requested assistance, and three more were dispatched.
Midlothian Snowsports Centre, including the Alpine Coaster, closed their doors while crews got the fire under control.

The business said it is hoping to reopen from 2pm on Tuesday.
SFRS confirmed firefighters remained at the scene at 12.42pm.
It comes after “very high risk” warnings for wildfire were issued by SFRS with the public being urged to avoid lighting fires outdoors.
The last warning expired on March, 21, but SFRS has still called for caution due to spring being the “most critical” period for wildfires across the country.

Figures show almost 80% of large outdoor fires since 2010 were recorded between March and May.
Deputy chair of the Scottish Wildfire Forum, Michael Bruce, said: “Large wildfires burning over several days have a devastating impact on our natural environment.
“In May 2019, a wildfire burned for six days in the Flow Country where the burned peatland doubled Scotland’s emissions.
“Wildfires can strike a blow to rural economies and tourism.”
A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: “We were alerted at 9.23am on Tuesday, April 1, to reports of a grass fire near to the Alpine Coaster near Hillend, Midlothian.
“Operations Control mobilised one appliance initially to the scene and on arrival firefighters were met with a gorse fire.
“Three further three appliances were mobilised, and firefighters remain on scene.”
