Road closed following collision involving car and motorbike

A road has been closed following a crash involving a car and a motorbike in West Lothian on Monday.

Emergency services were called to the A7066 between Boghall Roundabout to Inchwood Roundabout at around 5.35pm.

Officers have shut the road following the incident.

It is not known if anyone was injured. Drivers have been urged to avoid the area and seek alternative routes.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “The A7066 is closed between Boghall Roundabout to Inchwood Roundabout, Bathgate.

“Around 5.35pm officers were called to a report of a crash involving a car and a motorbike.

“Emergency services are in attendance and motorists are asked to avoid the area and seek alternative routes.”
