Concern is growing for an “extremely vulnerable” man who has not been seen since Thursday evening.
Police are appealing for information to help trace Sean Scott, from Edinburgh.
He was last seen at around 5.40pm on Thursday, September 1 at Fort Kinnaird Retail Park.
The 23-year-old, who police have described as extremely vulnerable is described as being of slim build, 5ft 5in tall, with a light stubble or beard and short brown hair.
When last seen he was wearing black and yellow ear defenders that look like headphones, a grey short sleeved plain t-shirt, black trousers, white trainers and white socks.
Inspector Graeme Dignan said: “We are growing increasingly concerned for the welfare of Sean. This is an extremely worrying time for his family and friends.
“We have issued a CCTV image of Sean from earlier on today in the hope that someone may recognise him.
“Officers are carrying out extensive searches and reviewing CCTV in an effort to trace him but there have been no confirmed sightings of him.
“I would urge anyone who has any information on Sean’s whereabouts or who has had contact with him to call Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident 2765 of September 1.”
