Police ScotlandAn urgent search has been launched for a woman who has been missing from Edinburgh overnight.
Rebecca Clough, known as Becca, was last seen in the Liberton area on Tuesday evening with concerns growing for her welfare.
It’s thought the 42-year-old could be travelling to the West of country in a car.
Becca has been described as white, around 5ft 7in tall, and has shoulder length red/purple hair.
She was last seen wearing black cotton tracksuit bottoms and top. She occasionally wears glasses.
Anyone who believes they have seen Becca is urged to contact police immediately.
Sergeant Craig Darling said: “We are concerned for Becca’s welfare and appeal to anyone who believes they may have seen her to contact the police immediately”.
If anyone has information which may assist us to find Becca please call Police Scotland via 101 quoting incident 0808 of August 14.
