Two people have been taken to hospital following a collision on a road in Rosyth on Wednesday.

Emergency services were alerted to the two-vehicle crash at around 1.15pm on Admiralty Road.

The Scottish Ambulance Service confirmed that a number of resources were sent to the scene, including the special operations team and an air ambulance.

One person was taken to the New Edinburgh Royal Infirmary, whilst the other was airlifted.

Images of the scene show a significant presence of emergency services in the area.

A Scottish Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We received a call at 1.19pm today to attend a road traffic collision on Admiralty Road in Rosyth.

“We dispatched a number of resources to the scene including our special operations team and an air ambulance.

“We transported two patients to New Edinburgh Royal Infirmary; one travelled via road and the other patient was airlifted.”

A Police Scotland spokesperson added: “Admiralty Road in Rosyth is closed between Castle Road and Castlandhill Road following a two-vehicle crash reported to police around 1.15pm on Wednesday, February 4, 2026.

“Emergency services are in attendance and road users are advised to avoid the area.”
