Two missing teens Julia Gradecka and Daniel Carroll spotted together on CCTV in Edinburgh

Two missing teens have been spotted in together on CCTV in Edinburgh city centre, sparking a fresh police appeal.

Julia Gradecka, 14, was last seen in the Waterfall Walk area of Dalkeith around 7am on Saturday, July 13 while 15-year-old Daniel Carroll disappeared from the Bellshill area on Friday, July 12.

Police issued appeals to trace both teenagers but further enquiries have found CCTV images of the two in each other’s company on Princes Street in Edinburgh at 11.20pm on Tuesday, July 16.

The 14-year-old is described as being around 5ft 9in in height, of medium build with long brown hair and was last seen wearing a purple and white jumper, black leggings and white crocs.

She is known to frequent the Bellshill area.

The 15-year-old is described as white, 5ft 8in tall with short brown hair and a slim build.

Police said the pair may be using bus links to move throughout Lanarkshire and Glasgow.

Inspector Watson from Dalkeith Police Station said: “As time passes we are becoming increasingly concerned for Julia’s welfare and would urge anyone who may have seen her, or has any information on her whereabouts, to contact police.

“Likewise, if Julia sees or hears about this appeal, please call us, so we know you are safe and well.”
