Two men are in a critical condition following a crash on a motorway near Falkirk.
The pair were rushed to hospital shortly after 9.10pm on Thursday, July 6 after the incident on the M9 between Junction 7 and 8, at the merge with the M876.
The collision, which involved a white Honda Civic, is now being investigated by Police Scotland.
The 20-year-old driver and his 18-year-old passenger were taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow, where their condition was described as “critical, but stable”.
Officers have since appealed for any drivers who may have witnessed the crash or captured footage on a dashboard-mounted camera to get in touch and share it with investigators.
Constable Nicola Sowden of Forth Valley’s Road Policing Unit said: “Our enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances and we are keen to speak to anyone who saw the white Honda Civic prior to the collision.
“In particular, if you have dash-cam footage that could assist with our investigation, please get in touch.”
