Two men have been arrested and charged following a crash in Edinburgh which left a man in hospital.
Police were called to Ardshiel Avenue, at around 12.15pm on Monday, after being made aware of a crash and “subsequent disturbance”.
Emergency services took a 29-year-old man to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh with serious injuries.
His current condition is unknown.
Officers confirmed that two men were arrested and charged in connection with the incident.
A 26-year-old appeared at Edinburgh Sheriff Court on Tuesday, while a 31-year-old is set to appear at a later date.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Police and emergency services were called to a report of a road crash and subsequent disturbance on Ardshiel Avenue, Edinburgh, around 12.15pm on Monday, October 10.
“A 29-year-old man was taken by ambulance to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh with serious injuries.
“Two men have been arrested and charged in connection with the incident.
“A 26-year-old man appeared at Edinburgh Sheriff Court on Tuesday, October 11, and a 31-year-old man at a later date.”
