Two men have been charged after a disturbance in East Lothian which saw two people rushed to hospital.
Police were called to the scene of the incident around 1am on Sunday in the Market Street area of Haddington.
Two men aged 53 and 60 were taken to Edinburgh Royal Infirmary as a result of the incident.
Officers confirmed on Wednesday that two men, both aged 34, have now been arrested and charged in connection to the incident.
They are due to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court.
Following a call for witnesses, a Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Officers would like to thank the public for their assistance with this incident.”
