A 65-year-old and a 40-year-old man have been arrested in connection with the deaths of two men.

Two suspects have been arrested after two men were found dead at a high rise flat in Edinburgh.

At around 8.25pm on Tuesday night, police were called to reports of an incident at Greendykes House in Craigmillar.

Two men were pronounced dead at the scene and officers remained in the area on Wednesday to carry out enquiries.

Police later confirmed that two men aged 65 and 40 have now been arrested in connection with the deaths and enquiries remain ongoing.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 8.25pm on Tuesday, November 1, 2022, police attended a report of an incident at a flat in Greendykes Road in Edinburgh.

“Two men were pronounced dead at the scene.

“Two men, aged 65 and 40, have been arrested in connection and enquiries are ongoing.”
