iStockTwo men have been arrested in connection with attempted murder after a man was hit by a car in Edinburgh.
Emergency services were called to the hit-and-run on Lochend Drive at around 9.50pm on Tuesday, February 3.
A 36-year-old was taken to hospital for treatment following the incident.
The vehicle involved fled the scene.
A 31-year-old man has now been arrested in connection with attempted murder.
Police also confirmed that a 35-year-old man has been arrested in connection with attempting to pervert the course of justice.
Enquiries remain ongoing.
