Two people had to be taken to hospital after a crash between a car and a “sweeper lorry” in Fife.
Officers were called to reports of the collision on the B9157 near Orrock Quarry in Kirkcaldy, at around 3.45pm on Friday.
Two people were taken to hospital for treatment, where their condition remains unknown.
Images on social media showed the car had landed on its side, with the road closed until around 6.05pm.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 3.45pm on Friday, November 4, 2022, police were called to the B9157 near Orrock Quarry, following a report of a two-vehicle crash.
“Two people were taken to hospital for treatment and the road reopened around 6.05pm.”
