Two men are to appear in court in connection with the murder of a former teacher at Fettes College.
Dr Peter Coshan’s disappearance from the Seafield Road area of Edinburgh sparked a cross-border search last year.
The body of the 75-year-old was later discovered on land close to the A696 near the village of Kirkwhelpington in Northumberland on Sunday September 4.
Two men were previously arrested and charged in connection with Dr Coshan’s disappearance and appeared at Edinburgh Sheriff Court.
Paul Black, 63, and Paul McNaughton, 27, will appear at the High Court in Glasgow for a preliminary hearing.
The pair made no plea to a charge they murdered him in Edinburgh on August 11.
Dr Coshan taught at Edinburgh’s Fettes College, where former Prime Minister Tony Blair was once a pupil, from 1972 until 2005.
