Tributes have been paid to a mum-of-three who was allegedly murdered in a Hawick home.
Emergency services were called to an address on McLagan Drive following reports of an incident at around 7.20am on Thursday.
Stacey Hogg, 35, was pronounced dead at the scene.
A 39-year-old man appeared at Jedburgh Sheriff Court on Friday charged with her murder.
Lee Inglis, from the Borders, made no plea and was remanded in custody.
Ms Hogg’s brother, Arran Hogg, has set up a fundraiser to help support her three children and cover funeral costs.
He wrote: “Her kindness, strength, and love will never be forgotten, and she will be deeply missed by everyone who knew her.
“As our family tries to come to terms with this unimaginable loss, we‘re trying to ensure her children have the support they need for the future.”
