Three youths have been charged following a series of ‘deliberate’ wildfires in Fife.
The first fire took hold of several grassy areas near Raising Sun Road in Buckhaven at around 9pm on Wednesday evening.
Four engines attended the incident to extinguish the flames, which affected an area of around 150 square metres.
Crews left the scene at around 10.30pm.
On the same day, fires were also reported near Wellesley Road and Sea Road in Methil.
Police Scotland has confirmed that three youths have been charged in connection with the incidents.
Two of the youths have also been charged in connection with a fire on Lady Wynd, also in Buckhaven, on Thursday.
No injuries were reported from any of the fires.
All three of the youths will be reported to the relevant authorities.
