Three teenagers have been charged after a 17-year-old was “seriously assaulted” on a street in Edinburgh.
The teen was allegedly attacked on Broomhouse Road at around 10pm on Friday, September 6.
He was subsequently taken to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh and has since been discharged.
Three teenage males, aged 18, 17 and 16, appeared at Edinburgh Sheriff Court on Monday charged with assault to severe injury and danger of life and threatening and abusive behaviour.
Abdullah Rehan, the 18-year-old man, was also charged with possessing a bladed or pointed weapon and being in possession of drugs.
All three made no plea and were committed for further examination and released on bail.
A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
