Adobe StockThree people have been taken to hospital following a crash involving a bus in Edinburgh.
Emergency services were called to Kirk Brae in the Liberton area of the city around 12.30pm on Sunday following the two-vehicle collision.
Lothian Buses confirmed that one of its buses had been involved in the incident and that one person on board had been taken to hospital.
Two others were also taken to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh. Their conditions are currently unknown.
A spokesperson for Lothian Buses said: “We can confirm that one of our vehicles was involved in an incident on Kirk Brae and we are assisting Police Scotland with their enquiries.”
A Scottish Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We received a call at 12.29pm on July 26 to attend an incident on Kirk Brae, Edinburgh.
“Two ambulances were dispatched to the scene, and three patients were transported to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh.”
Police Scotland said an investigation into the incident is currently ongoing.
